Class Types
We have 2 main types of classes, Sensory Science for 0-7 years and Chemistry Club for 7-11years.
Currently our Sensory Science classes are available as parent and child classes in Nailsea and Bedminster and also as nursery sessions and after-school clubs for reception and KS1 pupils. These classes are play-based, skills based sessions which support and enhance the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
Our Chemistry Club is run as after-school clubs for KS2 pupils, enriching the KS2 curriculum and preparing pupils for secondary science.
Pricing
Our classes are competitively priced and reflect the use of a skilled practitioner who plans and runs the session plus the amount of consumables we use and the scale of our set-up.
Sensory Science Parent and Child session
Babies 0-12m
30min sessions
£5.50 per session
This is a relaxed free flow and play session.
Focusing on each sense for your little one.
Using messy play, sensory lights, bubbles, different smells and sounds plus more!
Mixed Sessions 0-4yrs
1 hour session
£10.50 per session
Free flow sensory play at different levels.

Sensory Science After-School Club
Ages 4–7
1 hour sessions
£10 per session
Booked as a 5 or 6 week block.
Includes small fruit snack.
Opportunity to borrow science books.
Experiment to take home at the end of term.

Sessions
Sensory Science Parent and Child Groups
These wonderful sessions are designed to ignite wonder and to have fun! A perfect chance to bond with your baby, meet other parents and to support your little one’s development through sensory play. Messy play is a key part of that and this is a great chance to do it where someone else is taking care of most of that mess! Classes are carefully designed to support the EYFS and promote Language and Communication skills, Physical development, social development, literacy, mathematics and more!
Sensory Science After-School Club
This exciting 5/6 week block of after-school sessions is sure to get your child talking!
Each session includes a small fruit snack and circle time to discuss any science questions your child has and we will read a science themed book or your child will have an opportunity to pick a book to borrow and take home for the week. A great moment to promote communication, language and literacy.
We’ll then explore, including messy play and through open-ended play based learning opportunities. We’ll also have a scientific demonstration and a hands on science experiment or 2!
In the last session of each term we make an experiment which children can take home with them to show you and then it’s a bubble extravaganza!
Learning
Every Crids Kids class builds curiosity, early science language, and confidence through simple experiments and sensory play. Every detail is planned to meet the developmental needs of your little one, down to the size of the pipette we use in each class!
Children get the opportunity to look and feel like a real life scientist with lab coats and goggles available to wear in every session.

Nursery Sessions are booked directly between Crids Kids Science Outreach and the nursery.
